Artist Beach House is located just two miles north of the federal park “Canaveral National Seashore”, an ideal spot for nature lovers. This 25 miles of pristine Atlantic Ocean beach, dunes and Mosquito Lagoon is the longest expanse of undeveloped land along the East Coast of Florida. The park provides habitat for 15 federally-listed (Threatened and Endangered) animal species, ranking it second in the entire National Park Service. Three sea turtle species nest on the beach each year and large numbers of waterfowl and wading birds utilize the Seashore as a migratory stopover and wintering ground. The park also contains historic Eldora House and the prehistoric archaeological site Turtlemound.
